Patricia M. Bowes is Co-Director of Bloomingdale Psychological Services and has been in private practice for over 18 years in Wayne and Center City, Philadelphia. Patricia received her Master's Degree from Villanova University and has completed four years of Psychoanalytic training at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis. She is also a certified EMDR therapist. 

As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, Patricia has extensive clinical training and expertise in the treatment of anxiety, depression and personality disorders. Patricia provides clinical supervision for counseling interns. Her other areas of specialization are the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and women's issues. She provides therapy for individuals, couples, groups, and families. She also treats those who have experienced serious trauma and prolonged grief reaction using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.), a technique that helps to resolve the original trauma.

Patricia is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, the Philadelphia Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology and the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis. She has taught at Temple University and the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis.
