Kristy Burton is a psychotherapist at Bloomingdale Psychological Services and has received her masters degree in counseling from Eastern University with a concentration in marriage and family counseling. Ms. Burton specializes in counseling individuals, couples, and families to understand and work through difficult life issues. As a psychotherapist she has worked with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, divorce and a variety of other issues. In addition to her individual therapy Ms. Burton has also co-facilitated a women's personal growth support group. Ms. Burton specializes in couples issues, such as communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, and many other areas. She also specializes in counseling couples who are planning on getting married or newlywed who are working through this time of transition in their lives. Her interests include working with couples that are planning on getting married Ms. Burton is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
